Job Description

Job Summary (Minimum Wage)

As Accounting Staff, you will be responsible for supporting the accounting department in various tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Processing accounts payable and receivable

  • Preparing financial reports

  • Reconciling bank statements

  • Maintaining accurate financial records

  • Assisting with audits

Responsibilities

  • Record financial transactions and maintain accurate records.

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.

  • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.

  • Assist with budget preparation and monitoring.

  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

  • Handle accounts payable and receivable processes.

  • Manage and maintain fixed asset records.

  • Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.

  • Assist with internal and external audits.

  • Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

  • Proven experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing setting

  • Less than 1 year of accounting experience required

  • Manufacturing industry experience is strongly preferred

  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices

  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) preferred but not required

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
