Job Description

Key Responsibilities

A Project In-Charge Engineer is responsible for directing daily project operations from blueprint to completion. This includes:

  • Reviewing project proposals, plans, and specifications to define objectives and phases
  • Assigning personnel to specific tasks and coordinating teams
  • Preparing cost estimates, bills of materials, and monitoring project budgets
  • Conducting inspections, surveys, and tests to ensure compliance with design and performance standards
  • Monitoring project progress, resolving issues, and providing regular status reports to management
  • Enforcing safety procedures, quality control, and regulatory compliance
  • Coordinating with subcontractors, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure timely decision-making and project delivery


Job Requirements

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or Architecture, preferably licensed
  • Experience: Typically 3–5 years in project supervision or management, with at least 3years in a supervisory role
  • Skills: Strong leadership, project management, organizational, and technical skills; proficiency in construction monitoring and project management software; ability to handle high-pressure environments
