Key Responsibilities

A Project In-Charge Engineer is responsible for directing daily project operations from blueprint to completion. This includes:

Reviewing project proposals, plans, and specifications to define objectives and phases
Assigning personnel to specific tasks and coordinating teams
Preparing cost estimates, bills of materials, and monitoring project budgets
Conducting inspections, surveys, and tests to ensure compliance with design and performance standards
Monitoring project progress, resolving issues, and providing regular status reports to management
Enforcing safety procedures, quality control, and regulatory compliance
Coordinating with subcontractors, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure timely decision-making and project delivery

Required Qualifications and Skills

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or Architecture, preferably licensed
Experience: Typically 3–5 years in project supervision or management, with at least 3years in a supervisory role
Skills: Strong leadership, project management, organizational, and technical skills; proficiency in construction monitoring and project management software; ability to handle high-pressure environments
