1. Prepares the BOQ (Bill of Quantities) based on the RFQ (Request for Quotation) of a certain project as submitted by the Project Manager and duly approved by the CEO & President.
2. Understanding the client’s requirements and quantities take-off as per marking and RCP drawings and/or supported by an actual site visit and pre-scoping activities, where needed.
3. Identifying the gaps between BOQ and drawings, specifications and conditions of the contract and taking it for logical closure.
4. Participates in the pre-tendering activities with client and the Project Managers and raising relevant pre-bid queries from the given tender.
5. Monitors and controls costs throughout the project duration, identifying cost-saving opportunities and submits corrective action as promptly as these are noted.
6. Collaborates with stakeholder to optimize project outcome and achieve value for money
7. Optimizes the use of all project team resources, monitor the team performance and to promote a working environment that enriches personal and professional growth consistent with that of the company’s goals and objective.
8. Continuous review of existing operating processes and procedures in full use of the project team’s resources to ensure that these processes and procedures continue to be responsive to the current demands of the company’s business environment.
9. Acts as a management representative in business meetings with existing and prospective clients and in meeting with any government office related to project management.
10. Supports the ISO initiatives and adopts the continual improvement mindset to always look for opportunities for improvement and change obsolete processes and/or innovate for the best interest of the company.
11. Performs other functions that maybe assigned from time to time in relations to project management.
