A. Schedule Development and Baseline Management
- Review and analyze project scope, technical documentation, drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements.
- Develop and structure the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) in alignment with project deliverables to prepare detailed, logic-driven project schedules using planning software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6).
- Collaborate with the Construction Quantity Surveyors to create an ordering schedule to align procurement cycles with the critical path and lead-time constraints, ensuring materials arrive on time without causing delays.
- Update and maintain the project schedule on a weekly and/or monthly basis to monitor actual progress against the approved baseline schedule.
- Ensure projects are completed within approved timelines through proactive schedule monitoring and corrective actions.
- Develop contingency plans and recovery strategies to address schedule changes, risks, or unforeseen delays in collaboration with the Project Engineer and Project Managers.
- Coordinate with cross-functional departments to synchronize construction phases, development milestones, and critical paths.
- Create external weekly reports that document cumulative accomplishments, provide photographic evidence of physical progress, and resource allocation of metrics.
- Attend and preside over client coordination meetings to report on project accomplishments and resolve critical issues.
