JOB DESCRIPTION:
Receive and inspect deliveries, ensuring that quantities, quality, and specifications match approved documents. (Transmittal, Purchase Request, Purchase Order, etc.)
Properly record, label, and store all supplies, materials, equipment, and other inventory items.
Maintain a clean, organized, secure, and properly maintained storeroom.
Issue supplies and materials only upon approval of supplies requisition form and maintain accurate issuance records.
Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile actual stocks with inventory records.
Apply proper stock rotation methods, including FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out), to minimize spoilage, expiration, and wastage.
Monitor and report damaged, expired, missing, slow-moving, or excess stocks.
Maintain complete and accurate records of all receipts, issuances, returns, transfers, and inventory adjustments.
Coordinate with Purchasing, Finance, and other concerned departments regarding deliveries, stock requirements, and inventory concerns.
Ensure proper safekeeping of company supplies and prevent unauthorized access, loss, or misuse of inventory.
Follow established company policies, inventory procedures, safety standards, and internal controls.
Assist during audits, inventory counts, and other inventory-related activities.
Perform other related duties as may be assigned by the Procurement Manager
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of a Bachelor’s degree or at least a 2-year course in Hospitality Management, Tourism Management, Business Administration, Supply
Chain/Logistics, or other related field. Relevant work experience in hotel, warehouse, or inventory operations is an advantage.
More than 1 year of experience in handling storeroom, warehouse operations, quality inspection and recordkeeping.
With knowledge in basic accounting and data entry .
Familiarity with MS Office, Google Sheets and inventory software.
