Job Description
Medical Coder – Outpatient (Certified)
Location: Alabang, Muntinlupa
Work Setup: Full Onsite
Shift: Night Shift
Start Date: ASAP
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: Depending on work experience; up to 75,000
Work Expectations
- Full onsite work setup in Alabang, Muntinlupa
- Night shift from Training to Speed to Proficiency, with the possibility of transitioning to day shift once KPIs are stabilized
- Willing to start immediately
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately assign CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes based on clinical documentation
- Review medical records to ensure coding accuracy and compliance
- Code outpatient encounters across multiple specialties
- Meet productivity and quality benchmarks
- Adhere to HIPAA and company compliance standards
Job Requirements
Qualifications / Requirements
Active Certification (Required):
- CPC, CCS, or CIC from AAPC, AHIMA, or other recognized certification bodies
- CPC-A license holders are welcome, provided they have proven coding experience
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year medical coding experience
- Experience coding multi-specialty charts
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, CPT, and ICD-10 coding
- Outpatient coding experience, including:
- Same Day Surgery
- Ambulatory
- Emergency Department (ED)
- Evaluation and Management (E/M)
