Job Description
Supervise daily purchasing operations and team performance
Review and approve purchase requests and orders
Source reliable suppliers and negotiate pricing and terms
Monitor inventory levels to ensure timely replenishment
Ensure purchasing activities follow company policies and budget
Evaluate supplier performance and maintain good relationships
Prepare purchasing reports and track cost savings opportunities
Job Requirements
A graduate of any Engineering Course or any Business Course
Has 6 to 8 years experience in purchasing with a preference in manufacturing industry. Experience in non-production materials purchasing (supplies, services, facility maintenance, construction, repairs) is highly desirable.
Strong negotiation skills with suppliers and customers.
Good verbal and communication skills.
Ability to analyze data, identify trends and make informed decisions.
Problem solving skills, including root cause analysis.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Understanding of corporate governance requirements in purchasing.
Proficiency in MS Office.
