Job Summary:
Project Vino is looking for a Senior Accountant that will work a crucial role in managing financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and providing key insights to support business decisions. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Key Responsibilities (KRA - Key Result Areas):
- Financial Reporting & Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely financial statement preparation.
- Month-End & Year-End Closings: Manage closing processes and reconciliations efficiently.
- General Ledger & Accounts Management: Maintain accuracy in account reconciliations and oversee AP/AR processes.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the development and monitoring of financial plans.
- Tax & Audit Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Internal Controls & Process Improvement: Implement financial controls and streamline accounting operations.
- Financial Analysis & Insights: Provide management with key financial data and reports.
- Confidentiality & Data Security: Ensure strict confidentiality of financial records and sensitive company information.
- Bank Transactions & Reconciliation: Monitor, record, and reconcile all bank transactions accurately and timely.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior or supervisory role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
