Design aerial and underground fiber optic networks including FTTH, FTTx, backbone, and distribution systems.
Prepare detailed construction drawings, route maps, splicing diagrams, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
Conduct field surveys and feasibility assessments to determine optimal network routing and infrastructure requirements.
Perform Make-Ready Engineering (MRE) and pole loading analysis to ensure structural compliance for aerial deployments.
Coordinate with utility companies, municipalities, and permitting agencies to secure required approvals and permits.
Ensure designs comply with OSHA, NESC, and applicable local/state regulations.
Review and interpret civil, utility, and right-of-way (ROW) drawings to support network design.
Utilize GIS and CAD tools to produce accurate and detailed design documentation.
