Job Qualifications – Senior Cyber Security Engineer (Azure)

At least 6–8 years of experience in Cyber Security, Cloud Infrastructure, or Cloud Engineering
Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure and security
Strong expertise in Azure Networking including VNet, Subnets, NSG, Azure Firewall, VPN Gateway, Private Endpoints, and ExpressRoute
Experience implementing cloud security controls and governance frameworks
Strong knowledge of Azure AD / Entra ID, RBAC, Managed Identities, and Key Vault
Experience with Azure security services such as Microsoft Defender for Cloud
Hands-on experience in backup, disaster recovery, and high availability using Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) such as Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights
Strong troubleshooting skills and experience providing L3/L4 technical escalation support
Ability to conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for infrastructure and security incidents
Experience working in hybrid cloud or enterprise cloud environments
Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams
