Job Description

Interpretation duties will involve serving as the daily point of contact with our headquarters in Japan and supporting factory audits conducted by Japanese clients, which are expected to take place several times a year.

At present, all of these responsibilities are handled by Mr. John, so there is no immediate need to perform interpretation work on a full-time basis.

As for the career path, we expect this role to gradually take on responsibilities beyond interpretation, including supporting overall factory operations. Accordingly, this position offers potential for future salary growth as the scope of responsibilities expands.

・Provide interpretation and translation support between Japanese expatriates and local staff.
・Assist Japanese visitors and provide factory tours and explanations of company operations.
・Handle general administrative and clerical tasks.
・Manage inventory records and maintain related databases and reports.
・Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

Ability to drive is preferred.
Willing to learn and gain knowledge of technical and production-related operations on the shop floor.
Proficient in Japanese communication (N4, N3, N2, or N1 level).
Experience living in Japan is highly preferred.
A good understanding of Japanese culture and work ethics is preferred.
Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.
